IPR Recruits Some 300 Korean Exhibitors for
Global Trade Shows in January
IPR Group, known as private KOTRA or exhibition Wal-Mart in Korea, has been very aggressive and successful in recruiting Korean exhibitors and visitors for leading global trade shows.
Despite the economic recession still prevailing around the world, the Korean marketing company, as a result of their all-out effort to overcome the current downturn, recruited about 300 Korean exhibitors during the month of January for the international exhibition events it represents for promoting and selling the exhibition space among Korean traders.
In addition to the flagship shows such as HK Fashion Week, CeBIT, Hannover Messe, MAGIC SHOW, HK Electronics Show and Communic Asia, where it forms the Korean pavilions, IPR Group attracted numerous Korean exhibitors(and visitors) for a number of global trade shows involving diverse industries.
The company recruited many Korean exhibitors for a tea show in Hong Kong and jewerly shows in Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpur.
It also signed up with the Korean exporters who go into China market: environmentals, automotive parts, and foodstuffs in Shanghai, sporting goods and medical & healthcare equipment in Beijing, and consumer products in Shenzhen.
For the VIV and ILDEX events, the marketing consulting firm also attracted Korean exhibitors who sell animal medicines and vaccines to Southeast Asia, Europe and Latin America.
The major Korean business conglomerates such as Samsung, LS and KOLON will attend the renewable energy, offshore oil & gas and environmental shows.
A large number of Korean universities will organize their group pavilions at some of the major trade shows in 2010 under the Global Trade Expert Program(GTEP) that is subsidized by the Korean government.
