The head of CeBIT, the world's largest ICT show organized by Deutsche Messe, hosted a press conference at Park Hyatt Regency in Seoul on September 9.

Mr. Oliver Frese said to the 21 Korean journalists from 20 leading media, including Joongang Ilbo and Maeil Economic Daily, "The theme of CeBIT 2016 is the 'Diconomy' with eyes on innovation, information and inspiration. The partner country for the year 2016 will be Switzerland whose IT exports are much more than watches."

He also said, "It is the organizer's sincere hope that South Korea will be able to become the partner country for 2017. The country is widely known in the world as having outstanding IT industry. If Korea will be the partner country, Deutsche Messe will provide full support to promote it to EU and world markets."
