n explanatory presentation on “Magic Marketplace" the largest textile exhibition in the United States has been held in conference room of IPR Forum, Korean representative of the show, with the presence of company executives of the industry.
Ms. Nancy Yamada, marketing director of the organizing company of Magic Marketplace explained about the recent tendency of fashion industry in the United States and market access strategy into the American market.
“Magic Show" as the largest exhibition in America on fashion clothes, textile, accessory, is scheduled to be held in Las Vegas from August 29 to September 1,2005.
The exhibition is composed of five marketplaces- men’s wear, women’s wear, children’s wear, latest fashion mode and textile products.
Buyers from 80 countries with purchasing power of U$ 830,000,000. visit Magic Marketplace every year, and buyers from 50 states in America also visit the exhibition.
About 50 Korean companies are expected to participate as exhibitors in the show this year via Korea Fashion Association and Korea Federation of Textile Industry.
Korean companies participation in the exhibition is anticipated to be twice as many as last year’s thanks to the abolition of import quota in the American market. The exhibition is considered to be the ideal opportunity for Korean companies to make access into American market with active participation and competitive quality advantage.
