IPR FORUM/HKTDC Korea Consultant Office and Busan Chamber of Commerce and Industry co-organized a large-scale marketing seminar under the title of "Strategies for International Marketing" at the conference room of BCCI last Friday(May 16).
The representatives from some 60 enterprises in the port city of Busan attended the first significant event ever conducted by the two organizations for the exporters in Busan, the second largest city in Korea.
The major subjects of the seminar included the latest market information on North and South America, Europe, Middle East, Asia and China. Many leading international trade shows were introduced at the presentation.
Also, the Korean pavilions and the subsidies the Korean government provides for Korean exhibitors were introduced to the attendees. The presentation was highlighted on How To Maximize Trade Show Effects.
All the attendees appreciated the presentation and the printed materials provided by the organizers. At the end of the seminar, a lucky draw was conducted for 10 winners.
On the evening of the previous day, IPR/HKTDC invited 10 outstanding business leaders in the region to a dinner at Paradise Hotel. Over the Chinese food, they exchanged their views on the various issues they now faced at home and abroad.
The IPR/HKTDC delegates,during their stay in Busan, made courtesy calls on Dr. K.H. Lee, director general of Economic Promotion Bureau, Busan Metropolitan City, Mr. S.H. Kim, president of The Busan Ilbo(Daily News), and many other trade associations in Busan. IPR agreed with The Busan Ilbo to cooperate in organizing business events in future in the region.
The marketing seminar was broadcast by MBC TV at its 9pm evening news hour for the audience in the city.
