***US study abroad exhibition***

The officials of the respected universities, colleges, high schools and language institutes are visiting Korea next month to participate in STUDY USA 2003 a studying abroad fair.
IPR forum, the managing company of the exhibition said that 'STUDY USA 2003' will be held from March 30 to31 at COEX in Samsung-dong.
This event is hosted by an US exhibition organizer ICEO WORLDWIDE and supported by The KAEC(Korean-American Education Commission) and the department of Commercial service.
The keynote of the fair is that the staffs of the schools are to come up to the venue and to have one-on-one meetings with the visitors the venue, and this is far from previous fairs crowded with so called “Uhakone? the local consulting companies.
There will be attended at Study USA about 40 schools and institutes such as Boston University, State University of New York, Hawaii Pacific University, Western Christian High school and Accent on Language.

The fair furnish the information on the followings:
* How to choose a school or a area for studying
* Scholarship programs for foreign students
* Registration
* Accommodation types

Some of the schools will distribute the apply forms for admission.
There will be seminars dealing with solidified visa system since 9.11
"With the constant growth of the number of Korean students crossing the ocean to US for studying, Study USA is meaningful in terms of visitors can meet the concerned people of the schools where they want to enter.?said IPR Forum Official.
Korean students studying in USA has been growing up to 49,056 which stands for 7.4% increase compared to the record the previous year. The number ranked the third place following 68,836 of Indian students and 63,211 of Chinese students among the foreign students in America.
Admission to exhibition is 3,000 won.
